Private Membership · By Application Only · San Diego, CA
For operators carrying decisions that require a better table.
CADRE is a private circle for founders, owners, and serious builders who need sharper counsel, stronger relationships, and a more trusted level of access.
Most business owners do not need another membership. They do not need more content, more generic networking, or another group where everyone is talking above their actual level of execution.
They need a table with people who understand pressure. People who understand what it means to carry decisions, move capital, manage risk, lead teams, hold vision, and make real calls when the next move actually matters.
CADRE was built for that. Not as a public community. Not as a performance stage. As a private council for operators who value discernment, caliber, confidentiality, and meaningful relationships over hype, status games, and volume.
At its best, CADRE functions like a private advisory circle made up of experienced operators, strategic thinkers, and aligned relationships that sharpen judgment and expand possibility.
"The real value is not the event. It is the caliber of the fellowship and what becomes possible because of it."
The CADRE Standard
"The people you choose to be in rooms with says something about the future you are building. Choose accordingly."
CADRE is not built around curriculum. It is built around four pillars that - when present together - create the kind of movement that does not usually happen in public forums.
Members bring years of lived experience, hard decisions, real wins, painful lessons, and sharp pattern recognition. This is not top-down teaching. It is peer level intelligence transfer between serious people.
The setting matters because the tone matters. CADRE gatherings are designed to remove noise, lower pretense, and create the kind of atmosphere where honest conversation, trust, and better decisions can happen.
The network is meant to create leverage through relationships, introductions, perspective, accountability, and meaningful connection to people who can actually move something when it matters.
The group only works if the people are right. CADRE is built for contributors, not spectators. No ego theater. No casual dabbling. Integrity, candor, generosity, maturity, and a willingness to both give and receive at a high level.
CADRE is intentionally not for everyone. The standard protects the value.
"The setting is never accidental. The people in it even less so."
Wilson Creek Winery · CADRE GatheringCADRE has always been designed around one question: what kind of environment would make honest conversation, uncommon perspective, and lasting relationships almost inevitable? The experiences below are evidence of how that standard has already been lived.
Sunrise movement among the vines. A private breakfast, later lunch in the vineyard. Time with the winemaker. A founder roundtable without scripts, stages, or separation. The point was not luxury for its own sake. It was creating a setting that invited pace, candor, and conversation worthy of the people in the room.

A private meeting with senior military leadership, followed by a helicopter landing on the USS Finn while underway in the Pacific. For members, this was not about novelty. It was about proximity to leadership, trust, accountability, and operational standards at a level that leaves a permanent imprint.

Shared movement creates a different kind of conversation. Members rotated through a private curated fleet while the real value happened in the dialogue, trust, and natural bond that forms when serious people do something uncommon together rather than merely talk about business across a table.

A private yacht at golden hour. A smaller room. More honesty. Less performance. Some environments naturally strip away pretense, and the water tends to do that well. By the time the boat returned, the relationships had moved past networking into something more trusted.

The next gathering is being designed now.
The goal is not spectacle. The goal is to create the kind of circle where the conversations are better, the standards are higher, and the relationships outlast the event itself.
Most operators spend $15,000–$30,000 a year on conferences, industry events, and membership dues — and walk away with business cards. CADRE is twelve people who actually know your business, in the same room twice a year, invested in your outcome. The math is straightforward. The value is not theoretical.
"What is one right introduction worth to your business?
One aligned capital partner. One strategic deal. One client relationship
that wouldn't have happened any other way."
For most members, that math works on the first gathering.
Over the life of CADRE and its predecessor community, members have started businesses together, closed significant transactions with one another, and made introductions that changed the direction of a company — not because they were networking, but because they were in the same trusted room long enough for the right moment to arise naturally.
Trust creates deal flow.
Some of the highest ROI moments in CADRE have had nothing to do with deals. A member who had been circling a major business decision for months brought it to the table. By the end of the session, the path was clear. That kind of clarity — from people who understand the weight of real decisions — is worth more than most advisory retainers.
Better counsel. Clearer path.
The most durable return from CADRE is not a transaction. It is the relationships that begin inside the room and continue for years afterward — partnerships, friendships, referral streams, and trusted advisors that members carry with them long after the gathering ends. These are the relationships that change trajectory.
Proximity compresses time.
The right people at the right table at the right time is not a luxury.
It is the highest-leverage investment a serious operator can make.
Most operators spend years in rooms that feel close but never quite deliver the relationship, the introduction, or the counsel that actually moves something. Not because the rooms were bad. Because they were not the right room.
CADRE is built around one conviction: when the right people are in the same trusted space, with the right environment and the right standard, the return on that investment is not measured in dollars. It is measured in trajectory.
Twelve seats. One room. No compromise.
"The ceiling most operators are hitting is not a strategy problem. It is not a talent problem. It is a room problem. They are simply not in the right rooms with the right people."
CADRE exists to solve that.
"Leadership, trust, and radical accountability — when the stakes are real, the lessons stick."
USS Finn · Pacific Ocean · CADRE GatheringThe gatherings are the anchor. The monthly roundtable keeps the room alive between them, relationships warm, conversations active, and momentum real.
"The value is not only what happens at the table. It is who is at the table, what they see, what they share, and what becomes possible because the room exists."
Member QualificationsThe founding cohort does not just join CADRE — it defines the tone, standard, and story of what this room becomes.
"Some environments remove the noise. That is usually where the real conversation begins."
San Diego Harbor · Crow's Nest Yachts · CADRE GatheringCADRE came out of a larger cross-generational business community I founded in San Diego called Life Lounge, which grew to more than 200 members. But a smaller group wanted a different kind of experience — one with more trust, more depth, more intimacy, and higher-level conversation. That space became CADRE.
It ran for just over a year and produced experiences and relationships I still think about. Then 2020 hit, and like many things built around real physical presence, it paused.
What I missed was not just the gathering. I missed watching people walk into a room as strangers and leave with trusted relationships they would carry for years. I missed the kind of conversation that only happens when the room is right.
So this return is not about nostalgia. It is about rebuilding CADRE with better clarity, stronger standards, more intentional structure, and pricing that finally reflects what the integrity of Cadre is actually worth.
Tim has spent much of his career doing what most people talk about but very few actually do well: building rooms that change people. He founded Life Lounge, a cross-generational membership community in San Diego that grew to more than 200 members, and he previously ran CADRE as a 12-person mastermind that included notable founders and high-level operators.
He also created and produced Funded San Diego — a full-scale annual conference with speaker programming, VIP experiences, and strategic brand partnerships. Over the years he has built relationships with brands and organizations including Sotheby's International Realty, Maserati, Ferrari, McLaren, Tesla, CBRE and Crow's Nest Yachts, while also architecting experiences few people ever get to touch.
Blue Ocean Outcomes is built on one conviction: the right room at the right time changes trajectory. CADRE is that conviction expressed in its most selective form.
