Recognizing Opportunity · Stewarding Trusted Relationships
The right relationship can change a company's trajectory.
CADRE helps recognize it, create it, and move it forward.
A private ecosystem for accomplished leaders who understand that an introduction is only the beginning and that meaningful outcomes are created through context, trust, and intentional relationship stewardship.
The goal is not to fill the room. The goal is to build the right room.
Successful founders rarely struggle because they lack talent, relationships, or ambition.
More often, extraordinary opportunities remain invisible because no one sees how the right people, capabilities, capital, and ideas fit together.
One founder has the problem. Another has the solution. A third has the customer. Someone else has the capital.
Yet those opportunities never materialize because nobody is intentionally connecting and stewarding the relationships.
Cadre was built to solve exactly that problem.
Cadre is not built around introductions. Introductions are simply where the process begins. The real value comes from recognizing opportunities others overlook, carefully matching the right people, providing context, navigating the relationship, and helping meaningful outcomes emerge. Every member contributes relationships, insight, experience, and judgment that strengthen the ecosystem for everyone else.
"The greatest opportunities rarely arrive as opportunities.
They appear as relationships
that haven't yet been fully understood."
The CADRE Standard
"CADRE is built for leaders who make every ecosystem around them more valuable."
CADRE is intentionally not for everyone. The standard protects the value, the trust, and the long-term integrity of the ecosystem.
"The setting is never accidental. The people in it even less so."
Wilson Creek Winery · CADRE GatheringCADRE actively recognizes opportunities, connects the right people, and helps navigate the relationship toward a meaningful outcome. The value is not simply knowing who should meet. It is understanding why the relationship matters, creating the right context, and helping it move forward.
We understand what each member is building, where they are headed, and what challenges, resources, and opportunities surround them.
We identify the people, capabilities, capital, and relationships that may create value together—even when the connection is not immediately obvious.
The introduction is made with context, intention, and a clear understanding of why the relationship may matter to both people.
CADRE helps maintain awareness, navigate the relationship, identify next steps, and bring additional ecosystem resources into the opportunity when needed.
Through trusted context, intentional matchmaking, and active stewardship, the distance between opportunity and action becomes shorter.
And often, the most valuable result is the one no one saw coming. Unexpected opportunity.
Signature Experiences are not entertainment. They are intentionally designed environments where relationships deepen, opportunities become visible, and conversations that rarely happen elsewhere naturally emerge.
CADRE has always been designed around one question: what kind of environment would make honest conversation, uncommon perspective, and lasting relationships almost inevitable? The experiences below are evidence of how that standard has already been lived.
Sunrise movement among the vines. A private breakfast, later lunch in the vineyard. Time with the winemaker. A founder roundtable without scripts, stages, or separation. The point was not luxury for its own sake. It was creating a setting that invited pace, candor, and conversation worthy of the people in the room.

A private meeting with senior military leadership, followed by a helicopter landing on the USS Finn while underway in the Pacific. For members, this was not about novelty. It was about proximity to leadership, trust, accountability, and operational standards at a level that leaves a permanent imprint.

Shared movement creates a different kind of conversation. Members rotated through a private curated fleet while the real value happened in the dialogue, trust, and natural bond that forms when serious people do something uncommon together rather than merely talk about business across a table.

A private yacht at golden hour. A smaller room. More honesty. Less performance. Some environments naturally strip away pretense, and the water tends to do that well. By the time the boat returned, the relationships had moved past networking into something more trusted.

The next gathering is being designed now.
The goal is not spectacle. The goal is to create the kind of circle where the conversations are better, the standards are higher, and the relationships outlast the event itself.
CADRE is not designed for broad appeal. It is built for a specific caliber of ecosystem steward—someone who understands the value of trusted proximity, meaningful access, and the responsibility that comes with being inside a room that can change trajectory.
"The standard is not there to create distance.
It is there to protect trust, preserve contribution,
and ensure the room stays worthy of the people in it."
A room like this is selected, protected, and earned.
"The right room is not sold."
It needs to be protected.
That is why entry is by invitation only.
"Leadership, trust, and radical accountability — when the stakes are real, the lessons stick."
USS Finn · Pacific Ocean · CADRE GatheringThe gatherings are the anchor. The monthly roundtable keeps the room alive between them, relationships warm, conversations active, and momentum real. *For many members, this investment may qualify as a business expense potentially reducing the effective cost depending on individual tax circumstances.
"CADRE is not an offer to the market. It is a protected council. Membership is extended only when the sponsor, the standard, the contribution, and the fit are all aligned."
Member QualificationsNot everyone will be invited. That is not a flaw in the model. It is the model.
"Some environments remove the noise. That is usually where
the real conversation begins."
CADRE came out of a larger cross-generational business community I founded in San Diego called Life Lounge, which grew to more than 200 members. But a smaller group wanted a different kind of experience—one with more trust, more depth, more intimacy, and higher-level conversation. That space became CADRE.
It ran for just over a year and produced experiences and relationships I still think about. Then 2020 hit, and like many things built around real physical presence, it paused.
What I missed was not just the gathering. I missed watching people walk into a room as strangers and leave with trusted relationships they would carry for years. I missed the kind of conversation that only happens when the room is right.
So this return is not about nostalgia. It is about rebuilding CADRE with better clarity, stronger standards, more intentional structure, and a sharper understanding of who belongs: leaders who steward ecosystems and are willing to strengthen the whole room.
Before CADRE, there was Life Lounge — a cross-generational gathering built to bring together founders, leaders, operators, creatives, and serious thinkers in a setting where trust, perspective, and uncommon connection could actually happen.
That predecessor room welcomed remarkable people, powerful conversations, and meaningful relationships that still echo today. CADRE is not being invented from scratch. It is being rebuilt from a standard that has already been lived.
Tim has spent much of his career doing what most people talk about but very few actually do well: building rooms that change people. He founded Life Lounge, a cross-generational membership community in San Diego that grew to more than 200 members, and he previously ran CADRE as a 12-person mastermind that included notable founders and high-level operators.
He also created and produced Funded San Diego — a full-scale annual conference with speaker programming, VIP experiences, and strategic brand partnerships. Over the years he has built relationships with brands and organizations including Sotheby's International Realty, Maserati, Ferrari, McLaren, Tesla, CBRE and Crow's Nest Yachts, while also architecting experiences few people ever get to touch.
Blue Ocean Outcomes is built on one conviction: the right room at the right time changes trajectory. CADRE is that conviction expressed in its most selective form.
CADRE does not accept public applications. If you are being referred, sponsored, or inquiring on behalf of a prospective member, use the form below. Every inquiry is reviewed personally against the standard of contribution, trust, and ecosystem fit.
Every submission is reviewed personally.
If there is alignment, the next step will be a direct conversation.
